Rick and the Temps is a four-piece alt rock cover band based in Halifax, NS. We play 90s/2000s alt-rock hits with some pop covers thrown in for fun.We can also DJ a set before & after the band set for the Ultimate 90s & 2000s Music Experience.

Professional DJ & Event Lighting
Our singer, Robert, is a professional wedding DJ. He's been operating Maritime Mobile DJ Services for 16 years.You'll get all the normal stuff you'd expect: a microphone & music at the ceremony, and dinner music and microphone for speeches at the reception. You'll also get a full sound setup with a club-level DJ booth and dance floor lighting. We can also provide uplighting for the venue. Rob will play all your favourite music and requests from your guests and will interact and getting the party going. We usually do one DJ set before the band and one after, but you can mix and match however you see fit!
The Full Band Experience
Our four-piece band will play some of your fav alt rock hits from the 90s & 2000s, with several awesome pop covers thrown in for fun.Check out our song list! You can request your favourite songs to add to our setlist as long as there is enough time before your wedding for us to prepare, and we feel we can do a great job.We provide all the backline and sound equipment needed to get your guests rocking. Our guitar player Matt is also a professional wedding photographer and has shot dozens of weddings over the past 15 years under Fadetowhite Photography, so rest assured we know how important this day is to you. We know the ins and outs and you can trust us to take care of everything at the reception so you can just enjoy your night and rock out!

$2500This is the base cost for the Ultimate 90s & 2000s Music Experience.You get:
- Microphone at the ceremony
- Music at the ceremony
- Dinner music at the reception
- Wireless microphone for speeches at the reception
- The full band for up to 2 hours of live music at the reception
- DJ Rob for up to 3h at the reception
- All sound equipment
- All DJ equipment
- Stage lighting
- Dance floor lighting
- Setup & tear down
- Two custom song choices for the band to play
Extras- Venue lighting is extra and dependent on the number of lights and size of the venue.
- Extra custom songs beyond the two included in the base price can be added for $200 each.
- You can add DJ time for $200/hour
